Stubson: Shootings Not Opportunity for Gun Control Debate

Staff    7-21, 2016

A candidate for Wyoming’s lone U.S. House seat says he doesn’t like how Democrats are using the recent police shooting as an opportunity to push gun control. Tim Stubson, from Casper, says the recent police shootings in Dallas and Baton Rouge are terrible events. He says lack of leadership from President Obama is one of the problems that led to the shootings.

Stubson says these events should not be used as an opportunity for gun control events.

Stubson is one of nine Republican candidates seeking Wyoming’s U.S. House seat.
