Get ready for Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend is coming up, so now’s the time to look through your fishing and camping gear to make sure you have everything you need. If you’re missing anything, I might have a suggestion for you.

With Memorial Day weekend coming up, there’s not much time to run around and collect all the supplies you need to make your three-day excursion a successful one. You’re going to need a one-stop shop to get everything at once, so you’ll have more time for adventures.

A great place to make that stop is Sportsman’s Warehouse. Unfortunately, there’s not one in every town in Wyoming, but there’s one in Casper and one in Cheyenne. There will soon be one in Gillette and another one in Rock Springs, but not until later in the summer. Until then, if you can’t get to either of the physical stores, you might be able to order what you need off their website and have it delivered in time for your weekend outing.

Now’s a great time to go to Sportsman’s Warehouse, too, because they’re having their big 30th anniversary sale. You can get life jackets for your boating adventures for $15, or Caddis breathable waders for $100. They’ve got Allen Fall River chest packs to help you keep your flies right at your fingertips for $20. If you need a new float tube, you can get a Caddis Navigator with a free rod holder for $150.

If you need a new tent, they have a Eureka Sunrise EX for $240 for a six-person tent, or $290 for an eight-person model. And to cook the fish you catch, you can pick up a Coleman National Parks Road Trip X-Cursion grill for $180.

And to make sure you can find your way home at the end of your expedition, consider a Garmin Oregon GPS receiver for $300. That’s $180 off the original price.

Whatever you do and wherever you go this weekend, have fun, and stay safe.
